What was shocking most about last night, was to see Tribey sink to PB's level, albeit in a more articulate way.

It's the internet, there's absolutely nothing to lose by taking the moral high ground. I get in to heated debates about topics and hobbies I care for, but if anyone where to have a go at me as a person, there's nothing to gain by swinging back. Nothing.

But if I may, it wasn't the content of his posts that irked me most - despite the increasing depths of vulgarity plumbed.

It was the juvenile whining and portrayal of raw shock and surprise about my choice of retort in particular, as if his half-a-dozen unprovoked insults (which were designed to elicit precisely the reaction they received) had nothing to do with what came next.

I finally bite and return serve with a little mustard on it and everyone loses their shit. And having seen him do it multiple times before - twice to friends I know personally away from here - I thought fudge it, I'm going to make an example of you where previously this group has largely looked the other way while his chosen whipping boy, be it Dylan, TSW, PatientMental or other, has just copped it.

As misguidedly entertaining yet ultimately irrelevant as that decision was and will be in the wider scheme of things.

My simplistic summary of Piston Broke's posting is that he doesnt feel a part of the "in" crowd on here, and he realises hes not "hip"enough.

So to get some attention he starts ranting over a couple of weeks about "I want my premiership now....I want it now"!

Gets a bit of attention, but that dies out, so goes one step further by going into full abuse mode with probably the wittiest/most popular poster on the board.

Gets lots of abuse directed back at him, but doesnt really mind, as hes now got the attention he so keenly sought.

I don't think he gives a rat what crowd he's in, he at least tells it as sees it with out the pc spin, just needs to be wittier with the come backs and not resort to abuse.

Its good to have a wide variety of personallys on here, if we are looking at having a common "stereotype of poster" we may as well be crows supporters.

Probably a bad analogy but he is like the little boy in primary school who has a crush on the prettiest girl (that's you btw) and pushes her over, pulls her hair, calls her names etc all because of love. It's sad more than anything but it's painfully obvious that what others say is true, PB is an outsider who just wants in and doesn't know how to go about it so resorts to being 5 year old crush boy.

I feel no need to rant, but it's laughable that on any thread that isn't strictly 100% football, anyone thinks there isn't an obvious cliche and group think that leans together on most issues they are delusional. This is a fairly new thing, IMO even 12 months ago the 'All posters comments are equal, but some are more equal then others' was no where near as prevalent. It's not even 'Don't offend the masses', it's don't post anything that may possibly, if they are having a bad day, offend a few particular posters. And don't stand too close when the cool group is chatting.

If you can't just blast their post into smithereens maybe they have a legitimate point and it's not constructive to tell them to piss off for no good reason other than they are a Crows fan.
