You have an accident that involves a head injury and wind up in hospital. Your brain isn't quite functioning to its normal capacity and you're forgetting things you'd normally remember. You need to call your mum but her number isn't in your phone. What do you do?
Been there, done that. Was concussed at footy, parents outta town. Couldn't remember anything important (real bad concussion, possible short term brain damage). Thank goodness for Medicare card and they look up a Mrs Edgie in the phonebooks.
