"Is this a joke?" - Me, about a half dozen times while watching Gears of War 4 gameplay at Microsoft's E3 presser. Literally could've told me they were showing any previous Gears title and I would've believed it. Sad to see the truly innovative games these days are almost exclusively indie.

The remastered MOH: Frontline that came out with whatever the new MOH was for PS3 made my tear ducts run dry.

Never, ever, play a beloved vidya from your nostalgeries.

The human mind's ability to subconsciously upgrade the look and feel of memories of games is formidable.

Different perceptions for different people, I guess. When you Gen X-ers played on Ninty 64s and PS1s it was revolutionary compared to the previous 2D consoles but it'll always be that phase between 2D and reasonable looking 3D of the 360/PS3 era. For me it's where I started playing games so shonky first gen 3D graphics are 'retro' to me rather than just incredibly ugly and a memory retconned into gorgeous current gen standards.

Graphics are almost irrelevant I reckon. Some games rock at the time, but the gameplay mechanics are seriously out of date. Others hold up better. GoldenEye for instance... I don't reckon would hold up. Perfect Dark was enough of an improvement to hold up to modern experiences. Old 3rd person games built for one joystick consoles, with no proper look or camera controls... near impossible to play.

The issue with MOH: Frontline (PS3) was watching my squad/enemies move like half-squashed spiders. We've been spoiled with gains in motion-capture.

The issues people kept playing MoH beyond the beach landing level. It was all downhill from that incredibly high point. Also very few levels involved an actual squad if I remember, which was a key difference that CoD had in it's favour.

How come every time I'm in the kitchen...you in the kitchen...in the god damned refrigerator!...eating all the food! Eating all the collard greens...eating all the chitlins..eating all the pigs feet! I like chitlins! I like pig feet!

Woman who left her kids behind blames Aus Post

Let's face it who hasn't blamed Australia Post when you have left the country and left your children under the age of 7 home alone to fend for themselves. I mean people are so judgemental.

I did wonder if Aust. Post forgot to post them on for her.
