Thats simply not true. Australia were shit from 83-90 inclusively and we beat England in that time. Don't forget New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Pakistan were seven different shades of shit during this period of dominance as did we have against the "minnows"? .

NZ were a pretty handy team in the 80's.
