1) What crap we are now, seriously.
2) What crap the game is played like in recent times.
3) How awesome it is to see tough bumps etc and no 'in the back' and holding the man after the mark paid etc etc. What a brilliant game AFL was in 2004.

The in the back rule has ****ed the game more than anything else.

There would've already been 25 marking contests I've counted where it was purely momentum causing incidental contact from behind that the umpires have let go, that today would be free kicks, 50's or otherwise.

Congratulations - this is the closest answer to what I have found out about my original question. You win a replica crows 2012 premiership cup.:D

I'm guessing slightly more as the weight of asteroids etc that have hit the planet would be more than objects we've sent into space over the time period.

I'm probably missing something obvious.

Okay I'll admit it I am totally one to toot my own horn. I need people on the Internet to like my posts and tell me I'm right. It sustains me.

Yeah the biggest difference is easily the allowed contact in marking contests, both in a pack and on the lead. Ridiculous how hard it is for defenders to do anything these days.

Saints pressing hard early in the 3rd, Riewoldt working his way in to the game with his second. Looks set for a big final quarter.

GODDARD YOU GUN! No way he can take a better mark than that today!
