Everyone always says we need a new logo but nothing i've seen designed gets close to topping our current mark.

So anyway we had a logo of the week comp on the FGD board and since i'm running it, the PAFC was the first week.

Bloke I work with has an unopened carton of 2004 PAFC Premiership West End Draught cans, the box signed by 7 to 8 premiership players including G Wanganeen. He asked me if they would be worth anything, told him I wouldn't have a clue but would ask someone who might - so here I am.

I'm watching a replay of this years Carlton game. I got upset when I saw Surj playing but then I saw Chappy get out marked by Brock McLean and I didn't feel as bad.

I was overseas for 4 1/2 weeks and we won 3 straight against North Melbourne, Carlton and Gold Coast. The games were all on Foxtel recently so I recorded them and thought I'd watch them. I only got through the 1st quarter against North Melbourne and even though Schultzy is carving them up it's hard to watch. Pearcey's clearing the ball from the half-back line, Chaplin's in there, Primus is active in the box, and McCarthy's racing around. Only 11 quarters to go, maybe I'll toughen up?

Why didn't the Wallabies try to kick a field goal when they got to the 22m after the siren rather than play for a penalty. Instead they give one away 19m from goal, Richie McCaw says bugger it we can win this, and rather than kick it to touch they play the ball and after a couple of more penalties by the Wallabies, the All Blacks get the ball up the field and about 20m out get the ball to Carter who has a crack a field goal and somehow misses.

18-18 draw. Unbelievable last 8 minutes plus 6 extra minutes or so after the hooter.
