I was on that pubcrawl last week which received a whole bunch of 'media attention' (aka sensationalistic bullshit) in the Crapvertiser. Now I don't want to wear the shirt in public anymore in fear of young people hating, gullible old ladies throwing their apricot slice at me.

The only media that I think provides good footy info is The Age - I just got a message that digital subscription is coming - there goes the last free access to decent footy articles - by definition, the excludes the rag.

Yeah, there's no way I can justify $15 a month for The Age. Thats more than Spotify costs me, and Spotify is amazing where The Age is merely acceptable.

Or just browse here and get all your info instead of paying like a mug.

There weren't any particularly easy large V.I.P. Home Services logo to be found on the internet. In fact, there were none. So I uploaded it to Wikipedia and added it to Port's wikipedia page.

Not gonna lie Stormageddon. I thought that was some random TSW troll.

Is it wrong or so right that Good Friday is spent looking at Big Footy?

I think it's wrong that all the shops close and nothing happens on good friday, awful day.

I caused a ruckus in my local On The Run today. I put gas in my car and after seeing the huge line up to the normal counter i went over to the subway counter and paid in about 30 seconds.

I then told the guy at the end of the line that he could be served quicker by going to the subway counter and then half the people scrambled over to the subway counter. It caused pandemonium.

I walked out with my troll face on.

Sorry in advance but judging by your location I'm surprised people were lining up to pay for petrol in the first place.

The people of Elizabeth are hard working, industrious people. Well some of them are and by that i mean at least a couple of people are.

My 5 year old daughter was working on her reading and phonics last night. She was trying to get her head around the "oa" sound and I explained that it was used in words like float, boat, coat etc. She processes that and then says .... "and Boaky"!!! :hearts::hearts:

GOLD! :thumbsu:

The keeness has totally left my body now that I realise I am faced with a 20 hour bus ride round trip with the cheer squad, 3 hours of meandering in the shitty areas of Melbourne and then to fed square for a 'march' to the G, then the after match function after the match. Not keen on any of this besides actually going to the match.

The issues of travelling with a supporter group I guess, if I had made my decision earlier I would have flown.

I agree - but, the day is what you make of it. We had a BBQ with family (Mmmm, very tasty T-Bone steaks cooked over a wood fire - we can't figure what the fish have done to deserve being the only thing eaten on Good Friday), kids kicking the footy, nerf gun wars, there was a wee bit of alcohol involved too - just for the adults though. ;)
