Anything has to be better then sharknado....

this has to be the worst movie ever made by a fair margin...

Yeah but that's the point of the movie. To be ridiculously bad.

Got the final book in The Last Chronicles Of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, The Last Dark.

Have to bury myself in it. ... :thumbsu:

Sharktopus is the best of the ridiculous prehistoric monster movies. Original Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was good as well. But Sharktopus actually kept me guessing the whole way through. A very good time.

Looking forward to seeing Sharkalanche.

While tough guy hardcore is most definitely a relic of my past, "Satisfaction is the Death of Desire" by Hatebreed still kicks so much arse.

Hats are too one dimensional - they should have alternative uses.

Because people went out of their way to watch it because it's just so bad. Alongside Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, Mega Fault etc, these movies are all made by "The Asylum".
You reckon they would get their money back?....

Though it looked like it had a budget of 30 grand....ian zeering probably did for free trying to reserect his glory days

Interesting at the Gabba :D

Movies like Sharknado are made to be bad. Bad movies with serious pretensions are a much grander variety of bad.

Like "The Room".

Sharknado is a bit of a spoof.

The Room is probably the worst movie ever made because it trys to be something its not and it cost $8m to make.

Birdemic is the worst movie ever though.

One of my faves. Cant beat it

Ian Zeering's so called 'glory days' were far, far worse than anything in Sharknado.

He did an amazing cyber-thriller called Mind Storm (aka Subliminal Seduction) in 1996. By amazing I mean bad, but thoroughly watchable. I got it on one of those 10-in-1 THRILLER DVD packs I got from a pawnbroker. Those things are the best. They introduced me to Michael Dudikoff, the greatest B movie action star that never had a proper hit. American Ninja was as close as he got. Damn I love Dudikoff... the American Ninja series is too much fun.

There used to be a scene that was on YouTube where Dudikoff is driving along and sees a ninja standing on a mountain, who then vanishes... and then lands on his car. It was one of the funniest fight scenes I've ever seen, but I can't find it now :/

Now that we have bowled the poms out, Ryan Harris is half way thru his 17th test and now taken 74 wickets @ 21.74 but @ a strike rate of 45.6.

He's up there with the blokes who played in the 1880's when they had uncovered wickets.

Bloodsport *****

If you like your bad movies with a bit of retro stylee, you can't go past Ed Wood's, Plan 9 from Outer Space. Bad dialogue, bad acting, lack of continuity, disintegrating sets and visible wires & boom mikes. Amazingly bad.

This was the film used in a great live comedy overdub done in the 80s, Double Take Meets the Astro Zombies. They also did the same treatment to an old italian Hercules film from the 60s.

There's also this doozy from the 70s: The Incredible Melting Man
By all accounts it was intended as a serious horror film but ended up being a hilariously bad parody of one.

And finally, any conversation about good, bad movies would be incomplete without a reference to Melvin, the Toxic Avenger. The best, intentionally bad movie of all time.
