You could tell that it wasn't the usual Trott in those first two innings, normally such a mentally intense batsmen with unrelenting concentration. He was a quivering, mess of a shell of a batsman compared to what he was.

There is no need to have a crack at him, there is clearly something wrong there, the Trescothick comparison is apt.
