In thailand at the moment just noticed a show called "Dance your fat off" Only a matter of time before there's a celebrity dance your fat off I'm sure...then they only need to work a kitchen into it somehow

As Zakk said "colors" is the one.
Other notables "above the rim", "Super Fly", "New Jack City", and if you haven't already, check out "The Wire" for a great TV series.

I also refuse to watch the new RoboCop, I seen a still from it today, and the RoboCop had human hands! HUMAN HANDS!

A movie that is going to be lost entirely, and the original RoboCop is brilliant.

I wonder if the new Robocop has that bloke that melts in radioactive sludge at the end. I love that bit

There is one fight scene between rival gangs ... the director hired an actual bikie gang as extras to play this scene. Trouble was they weren't good actors and it turned into a full on brawl between the bikies and actors.

Australian film making in the 1960s and 70s - you have to watch Not Quite Hollywood.

Some great movies from that era, Stone is definately a classic.

Another good gang related movie from the 70s is "A sense of freedom: the Jimmy Boyle story".

I am supposed to be going to see "Black Digger" a show about indigenous soldiers in WW1 tonight at the Opera House but the bride has lost the tickets.

3 points I would like to make here:

1. I was actually looking forward to seeing this. Living in Darwin for so long and learning so much about the people and the culture combined with my grandfather being killed when the Japanese bombed Darwin in WW2 meant that I wuold have actually bought tickets if we hadn't been given freebies.

2. Does anybody have time to come over to my house in Sydney and look for them as we are at work today.

3. Imagine the shit storm if I had lost the tickets.
