No, people who avoid weddings are generally good people.

That said, my mother and step father were married in 2010 after a brief 28 year courtship, and given the occasion basically took the form of a massive long weekend family reunion it was the one wedding I didn't go to begrudgingly.

... Generally speaking I'm not a huge fan of remakes of classic films but I'd love to see a remake of 'Jaws' with modern day special effects.

Unfortunately pointless, the effect is never the same. How many King Kongs have there been? The Fly, The Invisible Man etc. None ever match the originals. Great film of its time, but relentlessly parodied or referenced and IMO best left as is.

Re-makes in general are just pure laziness.
It's not hard to re-hash a narrative in a different skin!
