whenever I want a new coat I go to the cloak room at the Adelaide Club and say in my plummiest accent, "Pater had a few too many cognacs last night and forgot to pick up his coat. He sent me to collect it." I normally get three or four brought to me to choose from.

Haha. I had some chic in the Planet cloakroom bring back a genuine leather jacket when I handed her my slip (rather than dedicated matching numbers - duh - you actually signed the one with the coat and again with the one you kept, so they could compare autographs not unlike an old credit card purchase) and when I told her that wasn't mine she had this shitty "DERP you stupid f#@k!" look on her face and compared the signatures again, as if I was pulling her leg for literally no reason.

In hindsight I should've thanked her, made a handsome $400 profit, gotten her fired and myself assumedly embroiled in a Liam Neeson-tier fiasco.

THERE have been distressing scenes at the SCG this afternoon, with Test hopeful Phil Hughes knocked out by a bouncer and stretchered from the ground.
Ambulance official confirmed he was in a critical condition.
At least three ambulances and a helicopter were on hand to treat the 25-year-old and transport him to hospital.

It actually sounds pretty grim. Had to be revived twice at the ground and is currently at hospital in a critical condition.
Kind of adds some weight to Kane Cornes's outspoken critique of Brett Lee stupidly bowling bouncers at that British journo in the nets last year.

The helicopter wasn't to take him to the hospital, it was to fly in ICU Dr's. Horrible.

Absolutely awful news. Goes from the cusp of the test team to fighting for his life in one ball. Having to be revived twice at the ground is about as grim as it gets.

Reports are he might have been hit in the heart not the head.

Cricket NSW cannot confirm if Hughes was alive when he left the field. Shit.
