I just watched exodus: gods and kings.

Can someone explain to me what happens? I slept through 3/4s of it.

Also, impressed with the quality of the 900MB download for a 3 hour movie.

Only the dark horse comics and the Shadows of the Empire novel.

Dash Rendar and the Outrider are staples of ny childhood.
There's been heaps written since then, I'm surprised an avid fan such as yourself hasn't explored more. Looks like the top ones that people recommend have been released from around 2010 onwards.

I reckon I might take a look at Red Harvest/Death Troopers when I'm done with what I'm reading now, it's horror and Star Wars. Might b cool. Or maybe the Darth Bane novels, he's probably the most important Sith up to Palpatine/Vader.

I didnt mind the movie, wasn't great.

Thought the kid who played God, did it pretty well.
Saw a few Christian websites review it and they were upset that God was made to look so wrathful and violent.

Too much, plus I've read enough about it to know its more miss than hit, especially with all the central characters pumping out dozens of babies.

Anakin Solo? Really?

Nearly as bad as the "19 years later" chapter of Harry Potter.

From what I seen, it was never a high energy movie, definitely seemed like a slow burn.

Got to feel sorry for Ron, one of his brothers died and now his best friend is banging his baby sister.

Hah, yeah, I think I'll stick to the stuff before and between the movies. That shit is probably why they scrapped all EU from canon.

I get the gist the best quality books have come out more recently as the universe has matured and expanded.

The dream is a live action HBO tele series set in the Old Republic though.

KOTOR is undoubtedly the best work of EU but they even ****ed that up by turning it in to a MMORPG when all the fans were screaming for a proper third game.

God, I hate the mehmorpeger spinoff route. Elder Scrolls, why? KOTOR, why? Whyyyyyy. Warhammer was a flop too, but the universe is a bit meh compared to its 40k brethren.

There is a new Star Wars game in the works being done by a new EA studio with a more "Uncharted"-esque setup, may be good.

I actually didn't mind Star Wars Galaxies, even after the dreaded new game enhancements, but eh, MMO gamers, who gives a rats what they think?

You would be forgiven in thinking that Elder Scrolls would be a perfect fit for an MMO.

Never played Galaxies as I was in my single digits and smashing out Runescape erry day. MMOs though, so limited in their mechanics.

Really? The very nature of its mechanics as a first person game makes it hard to adjust as an MMO where lag and response times **** up the combat. I just don't like MMOs because the RPG part is watered down due to decision making in the story having little to no impact on the world.

Fans of established franchises don't want an MMO in the same universe. We have already fallen for the world, the characters, the story. We don't want to be mr. Generic running around performing monotonous quests to level up and get experience in an unremarkable tale of forced adventure we know everyone else is also doing despite all attempts to make it feel as special as the single player, when you know everyone is also playing the same story as you, but its different somehow.

...world of warcraft?

If they could put the drop in/drop out mechanics of Borderlands co-op in to a game like Skyrim, that would be sweet.
Way better than an MMO, I reckon.

Spiderman 2 is a great film about the daily grind of life and the effects it can have on ones mental health and depression.

Ha, I was in the beta for that game.
Was really happy with it on my first session.
The next day I loaded it up and decided Im going to see what all the cities look like.
I walked for five minutes and hit a level gated area.

Immediately uninstalled the game and lost any interest, TES is good as a game where you can do what you want and go where you want, level gated area's is the opposite of Elder Scrolls.
