I've never seen Firefly, but thinking about giving it a watch based on Summer Glau (bloody Terminator Chronicles) and Nathan Fillion.

I still think like a teenager.

JJ Abrams is the perfect guy to make a Star Wars movie anyway, given that when making the Star Trek reboots, he made Star Wars films set in the Star Trek universe anyway.

The action set pieces, the interaction between the leads, the pacing, the humour, everything. They didn't feel like old Star Trek at all, they felt like Star Wars movies.

Yes. Definitely have a look. Serenity caps it off well as well.

You just have to deal with Joss Whedon dialogue, which suits the show quite well, as it does with Buffy.

It just wouldn't suit Star Wars. At all.
