Philadelphia 76ers have set a new record for major US sports. The now own the longest losing streak of 27 games. I can remember the good old days of the Magpies when a crisis meeting would be called if we lost 2 in a row.

I saw a graphic the other day about the Philadelphia sports crisis- the hockey team and the football team also aren't winning much. City teams were 0-12 for November at one point. The hockey team won tonight though.

So they reckon they got 47k to the test match yesterday. I was there the whole day, and if they got over 35k I'll remove by balls with a rusty spoon.
Entire top tier of eastern wing was almost completely empty, riverbank stand upper tiers only 2/3 full, and two chunks missing from ends of the grounds due to the sight screens. Even then, while it was quite full in other areas, it certainly wasn't completely packed in.

It's probably something like 47,000 tickets were scanned throughout the day.

I get that crickey crowds work differently than footy crowds but I just can't see how 47k people came through the gates that day

Fargo the movie and TV series - love the accents and all the yahhs. My mate married a girl from Wisconsin and she and her family use lots of yahhs. 20 years on the yahhs and ancent have changed living in Oz but they are still there. They give the Yahpies from South Africa a run for their money.

Melbourne Victory are almost literally f*cking trash. I despise everything that club stands for and the people they hire. Kevin Muscampaigner is genuinely a piece of human filth and I hope he has a dissatisfying rest of his life after he stops becoming a coach. The lives he's hurt and his attitude (praying on ground after seriously injuring a player) makes me repulsed.

That "protest" is hysterical. Either watch the sport or don't go at all. Not that you're missing anything by watching Soccer (especially if you barrack for Adelaide United heh).
