I chose Maiden over Sabbath. I am sure Sabbath will be a killer gig.

Iommi is the riff god.

Farwell tour for Sabbath sealed it for me, with any luck we'll have more chances to see Maiden in the future.

When I detected and reported the plagiarism (i'm talking copy and pasted with hyper links still in the text and all) in my group and then the whole having no idea how to reference issue, I got told to "educate them of what is expected" and then when a foreign student wrote completely illegible stuff I got told to help him improve his writing skills. I wasn't sure whether the University was doing the teaching, or if I was. This was a Masters level course, so this means that this person had progressed through a Bachelors course to get to where he was today. This made me excessively angry. It's also the main reason I never attend any of my graduations. It's ******* worthless because every dickhead can get a degree now and there is absolutely no pride in graduation.

If he tells me I can't change groups or do it on my own officially, I'll just do the assignment myself and tell the other group members to go take a holiday as I get them a good grade. It will be easier that way. Uni doesn't work on so many levels, completely shit experience from start to finish for a bit of paper that helps you get a job.

I still remember vividly my first experience with a graduate of a university degree, some kind of Automotive Engineer, when I was about 18 or 19. I was sent to do a vehicle maintenance by the CES late in the era of the Fraser Govt period, and this bearded hipster looking bloke bragging his uni credentials, was going to demonstrate how to tune up a car engine, the donor vehicle being a Datsun 1600. He had the official specs and proceeded to demonstrate the point adjustment and timing adjustment, and I can picture the look of fear on his face the first time he peered over the bonnet at this mechanical monstrosity. This was no picture from a book or periodical. Anyways, to cut to the chase, after he tinkered with them and the car pissed and farted and misfired, I told him to set the points at 12 thou instead of 16 or 18 or whatever it was, and the harmonic balancer rubber was probably shot and the timing had to be done by ear rather than the strobe light. He glared at me for my ignorance of his letters, as I was so beneath his being that I was but a carpet to him. The next day I went to the CES and explained to them the situation, and how he couldn't teach me anything, and that it was a waste of everyone's time. They agreed, exempted me and I went searching for employment instead. Now this bloke probably knew everything about cars, and could probably recite specs and bolt torques etc. Your 'copy and paste' education if you will, but he didn't know real world scenario. A common trend, I have found in my life's experience so far

Weird I've been under general 6 times and am going under again on Monday and have convinced myself I wont wake up.
You'll be fine mate, I've been under 16 times so you have a few to go.

What are you having done?

Where are you having it done?

All the best for your recovery.

Anyone with Netflix out there do yourself a favour and get amongst Goon (Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber).

Revives the sports-comedy genre like Quentin Tarantino revived John Travolta no not mouth-to-south resuscitation look just watch it ok
I already had a couple of people recommend this to me in the last week (after I asked "what happened to Seann William Scott?"), so I decided to watch it tonight.

Good stuff.:thumbsu:

You must be why it showed up on my `currently popular' I'm watching Goon now

I will give pretty much any Seann William Scott movie a go.

Carn m8 you'll be fine, anaestheticians these days are better than in the past or thereabouts so fistbumps and shet xo

The anaesthetist my missus had last year was a cheerful fellow, his morbid descriptions of all the things that could go wrong was a delight. He was like House without the pretend American accent.

One of my friends had a friend in primary school she told me once, the dad was an anaesthetist. He was also stockpiling assault rifles in the post 1996 Australis. Apparently had a collection of Ak-47s and the like. She never seen the family again after he was busted.

Strange bunch of professionals.

They essentially put people down for a living

Went to the mall to pick up some random items this morning and the Swans-Crows game was on the television in the mall's 'rest area'.

No one was watching. The AFL's plan to 'footyfy' Canada is hard going.

**** man.

I make shit up and convince doctors I need surgery just to be anaesthetised. It's the only decent sleep I get.

I reckon I've been under about 20 times.

Shit's me when they wake me up.

Enjoy it.
