Needs more 3D effects.
The 3D phase in the 80s was hilarious, it's impossible to watch Friday the 13th part III without a gratuitous camera angle designed to emphasise the 3D effects every 10 minutes.

I think 3D is a tech that is now automatically added to tv's these days.

I have a 2015 Samsung 4k tv that has no 3D support.
It's probably the entry level model though.
The tv I had before that had 3D. After the first few weeks I never used the function again.
Such a meh gimmick to me.

I did when i first got a tv that could do 3D, i "acquired" a few 3D blu-rays, the best one i have seen was an IMAX ocean doco narrated by Jim Carrey, i can't remember the name but imo had the best use of 3D. Most 3D movies have their depth added in post production and use the cheese pop out effect which looks shitty but 3D was just a gimmick that tv makes thought would stick like HD but failed miserably.

Yes. Occasionally use the 3D for some good 3D transfer flicks like Jurassic Park, Avatar, and Top Gun. Wouldn't dare sully it with Nightmare on Elm Street 6. You need a good quality player to get the most out of it.
Have had it for 7 odd years though so it could have died out in the meantime like guitar music with hooks and licks, I wouldn't know.
