I guess it's like American football, in the sense that it's one of those sports that you love, or it does nothing for you. Yachting falls into the second category for me, although I will admit that 1983 was pretty special. The Yanks raced to a 3-1 lead and Dennis Connor declared, "God is an American." He wouldn't have been too pleased when he discovered that the good Lord had changed allegiances......
