My girlfriend is in New Zealand. She FB messages me Happy Valentine's Day this morning, I FB messaged it back. The end.

I thoroughly recommend having a partner interstate/overseas for Valentine's Day. I love her, but Valentine's Day can consume a satchel of units.

My wife would be offended if I did something on Valentines Day.

She hates it with a passion she usually reserves for me on the fourth day of a bender.

Personal highlights for today:

1.Step into meeting and look out the window at the Cirque Africa tent being assembled in Hindmarsh Square. One of my managers says "nice to have a bit of colour in the square"

2. Having about five co-workers (in that 25-32 age bracket) up in arms when I say how the Matrix is pretty much unwatchable. (i later recanted and said the trilogy sits next to Lord of the Rings on the 'meh' shelf).

The first two series of This is England are on Stan now (as is the film), quality drama! Being British you don't have to watch 10 episodes with all that middle filler you get from America.
