Ask him about Colony Collapse Disorder what is his theory? Mention mobile phone towers and pesticides see which gets him on his soapbox.

I learned about it as it was a piece of information text in a year 5 NAPLAN tragic

I'll legitimately ask him, I suspect it will destroy my entire days productivity though.

Old mate is talking about beekeeping again.
For decades 286 Military Road Semaphore Park was the office of Bert Lindop Real Estate but about the same time you started telling us about your beekeeing obsessed work colleague it has changed to Adelaide Beekeeping Supplies. Coincidence? o_O

All star @AFL week? State of origin, longest kick, skills challenge and goal shoot out?

Would be a great concept, but the clowns at AFL house will never at least try this.

Came across this article from June 1919 in The Daily Herald while doing a bit of research on my great-grandfather - mentioned in the Port Adelaide v. Norwoods article - Horace Hoare, exceptionally good mark! Also mentioned in the B Grade writeup.

Looks like 'Ports' rather than 'Port' wasn't just a Port Adelaide thing.

Possibly unpopular opinion here but I don't think somebody less interested in AFL than everybody here is fit to be calling out AFL house for how they manage the game.

It's the clubs that don't want unnecessary sideshow competitions, not the league.

You'll have fun with Hoares if you're doing SA genealogy. IIRC the first criminal offence tried in South Australia was a Hoare who stole a side of bacon, and the judge's comments are a ripper, pretty much on the theme of: "****s sake mate, you're not a convict and you paid to come here and steal shit what is wrong with you, why am I here dealing with this petty shit, ****ing Port fans **** off"
