Which one? The early ones were putrid.

Yeah from the 2000s on. In my experience pretty low maintenance and reliable sedans.

Shit, even my mums step dad who has spent the best part of his life trying to crack 250kg is still getting around in his one from the 90s and it isn't missed a beat.

I just googled "250 kg man"
Wow. That takes some effort.

Mitsubishi Magna is an underrated car

Sent from mTalk

Yep, a mate bought a cheapie magna off gumtree for $500, drove it 1500km with 400kms on corrugated dirt, towing a trailer and it didn't miss a beat.

The Sigma was a piece of poo...

[source] my dad had three of them, first the engine died, second, only three doors worked from the inside and the back window leaked even with a mile thick layer of silicone and third the radiator hose busted and flooded the passenger compartment with boiling hot coolant.

Lol bullshit.

The paint on these things was the worst. Every single one of them faded and peeled very nastily. They generally developed bad engine problems and produced alot of smoke too.

The other issue I've noticed is how loud the engine was in the cabin with a few kms on the clock.

Why did he keep buying them?

Why did he keep buying them?

Unfortunately they were the only car we could afford. :(

edit***

My brother had an EB fairmont Ghia and when we went interstate to work he left it home so my dad could use it and it was like being in a god damned Rolls Royce compared to our shitty sigma's

That being said, the last Sigma we had (the one that got flooded with hot coolant) was a decent car, all the interior door handled worked and it was waterproof. iirc it was the last model sigma before it changed to the magna.

Hughsie is ready for his logies roast guys!

This top shelf self congratulatory wank is the worst. Surely no one but Beryl and The Project Fans (ugh) watch this tripe.

A mate has been through four different ones (through no fault of the cars) and they've all been great. Another mate drives his old Magna more than his BMW because that's constantly having issues and getting fixed.

Loud engines have never bothered me .

edgie doesn't deserve to have ears
As a total plebian I'm firm believer of the idea that you gotta have a proper rig to tell the difference between 320 and lossless.

64k though? You can tell the difference between 256 and 320. Anything below 128 is genuinely concerning like are your ears cooked?
