For Season 19 I announce Slax as the Life Membership induction. One of the foundation players, Slax has been around the club for a long long time, also having spent his entire career at the one club. Sensationally, Slax has been a low profile player all this time, and has spurned the concept of silverware - no awards to his name. Just the incessant turning up to the game, and propping up of the bar.

The formula never lies, it's 3KZ is Football who is the proven theory for this accolade. 3KZ has silky smooth skills on the wing, silky enough that he was a winner of the Most Improved Award in his debut season. How that works, is anybody's guess! He went on to win a Most Consistent Player award in S17, and again in S25 after a stint with the Royals. For Season 21 the honour goes to JakeThePeg2point0h (JakeThePeg)! While not the leaguewide name sensation that Fred carried in later seasons, Jake held down full-forward for three very important seasons. These were the final seasons before recess (S07 and S08) and the resurrection season in S11. Most importantly, when the days were at their darkest, and Fred was carrying the team essentially on his back, this little-known workhorse stepped up every week and helped shoulder that load. Those were not a proud couple of seasons, but this bloke can be proud of his input to keep the team rolling along until closure after Season 08. Leading goalkicker at the Roys for each of these seasons, Jake is an unsung hero who would not let the team fade into recess without a fight. Much respect!

He cleaned up the entire plate that day. Arguably the most popular captain in the competition, and an absolute rock in charge at the Roys, fbd has been stellar since day one. Although he spent plenty of his formative years elsewhere, he's been stapled to the forehead of the Roys for many years now, and a great player, supporter and entertainer throughout his tenure. Another rare Roy with a positive win/loss, but probably because he spent 60 games at a club that wins matches before he came to us. He won best new player upon joining the Roys, has 2 Broken medals to his credit, and has won the Yippyio Medal the last 3 seasons. A Most Consistent award in S22 adds a cherry to his award sheet. The TFLUA Medal is the candle. Well done Mooch!
