Crows are currently on 134.8% with a 101-point lead over Essendon. Even if we failed to overtake GWS, don't underestimate the importance of staying ahead of Geelong and Adelaide. Next week Geelong play Essendon and Adelaide play Brisbane. So one slip up and we could miss the top 4 entirely!

I have us out on %. I think we need Lolnorf to beat GWS to make top 4 and for us to win all remaining games. Most likely to have Scum at the G in a QF. Bloody Richmond loss

Squiggle has us finishing fourth now
Also creeping in between 05 and 12 flags

Week 1 final v hawthorn

Squiggle presuming gws crows and swans all drop one
Cats dont

What do we drop the North game?
We win it by 2 points but how the Squiggle works it adds up probabilities so it has enough to assume we'll drop 1 of those games. Obviously if we win it, it'll be different

5th is not the end of the world North made a prelim from 8th and only lost to the Eagles by 25pts.
The bye before finals combined with the strong chance that GWS could be in the top 4 should mean teams from 5-8 have a better chance than ever of winning a premiership.

So what are the chances Hawthorn lose to North and WC away?
You have to think they'll lose at least one on the way in.
If North played like they did earlier this year against the Hawks but not butcher shots at goal this time they are not without their chance.
Eagles are a better chance now that Nic Nat is coming back but would still need to improve dramatically from recent weeks to beat the Hawks.

Adelaide in the box seat, one out, one back, and a first week home final. Geelong hot on their heels, trying to get that game at SS.

Fourth, and a first week away final to the Hawks is the likely outcome for us.

We just have to win away against a desperate St K this round. The Saints are well placed to make the 8 if North don't win again.

Worst case scenario week 1 IMHO- Vs. Adelaide at A0. Absolutely feral crowd defintely sways the umps with their decisions and non-decisions. They are a pretty handy side, too. 2nd best forward line in the Afl (If Tippet plays most full forward during the finals).

Regardless of whether or not Tip plays up front for us I still rate Adelaide's forward line as the very best in the AFL. Perfectly balanced mix of talls in Tex, Jenkins and Lynch accompanied by (imo) the best small forward in the comp in Betts as well as Cameron.

As good as our forward line is I think the drop off between the best (Franklin & Tip) and the worst is a lot steeper compared to Adelaide's. This can be put down to half the forward line having played 50 games or less. Also, the often shit delivery into the forward 50 doesn't help.

Facing the crows at AO is the scariest prospect for the finals. I would rather Hawks at the MCG or GWS at Spotless any day of the week.

Went to the QF at Adelaide in 2012. Boys blocked out the fans and just threw everything at the Crows. Low scoring but amazing game. We could do that again if needed.

Can't see Norf winning another to be honest. Brown injured this weekend is a big loss for them if he doesn't get back. I expect Hawks to thrash them, which is unfortunate for us as this means Saints will come out with all guns blazing in an effort to make finals.

It would be so typical of North to win this game, and then proceed to lose to some ordinary team.
