How unfair is life sometimes?

I think he had a very realistic chance of keeping his spot. Worked so hard at it, never wanted to leave the club. Great team guy, knows his spot. Geelong - you owe it to him to keep him on list IMO.

Prismall would have to be one of the most unluckiest players in the AFL. Didn't he break his arm in his first senior game? Add to that the fact he was an emergency for the grand final side last year after being dropped after round 5, and now this after he seemed to have created a niche for himself in the senior side.

If I can look at the positive side (if there is such a thing for prisa)...but I hope he signs a new contract at Geelong and spends 12 months on our long term injury list. This gives us an opportunity to blood another player while holding onto a classy midfielder for 2010.

Delighted that Chappy's okay. At this stage Wojak and Kelly should be right for prelim consideration.

Mark Blake will likely earn himself a shiny new premiership medallion this year, and thus erase some of the disappointment from '07- I'm absolutely gutted for Prismall though. Gutted. I was hoping he was just gonna be like Stokesy in the Grand Final last year, sitting on the bench as he was in full playing kit and no ice or heavy strapping on the leg. Devastating for the young man.

And poor Matty Egan of course. One cup he's missed, and he may miss another one this year. We had better make & win a third for Ego!!
