Not sure if that is relevant in this thread? I agree with him at times and disagree with him at other times. But it has nothing to do with his work on sen.

I actually didn't bring up the topic. I was following on from others that raised the issue.

And somehow I think a thread devoted to Rohan Connolly Socialist Agenda on Twitter would have zero interest, and I ignore the politics board here on purpose.

He does bring his political views to his work on SEN. I don't follow him on Twitter, only listen to him on SEN. I agree with you all he is one of the best - if not the best - footy journos around and I really respect and value his footy opinions, just wish he didn't discuss his political opinions on radio. (I also wish he wouldn't share his appalling musical taste either for that matter!) However... as I said I accept other people see things differently to me and I like what he says about footy so I keep listening and no matter how offended I am about some of his politcal comments I won't be calling him any offensive names.

I like to laugh, rather than being a crotchity, venonous person. It will eat away at you and make you old before your time.

Me? I have 5 great grandchildren and am still a feisty old bird who loves life and all the different people in it....and laughing at the most silly and mundane things is the secret.....

...but there is a serious side to me that loathes horrible people who feel they can say and treat others in a demeaning, disgusting way. I arc up every time.

my Radio app failed to connect to rsn this morning and i was willingly subjected to mg for 10 mins. thommo was pretty good. although he was operating and competing against a low base

I find a lot of the presenters are quite good when called upon to step in at short notice. It's when they have time to prepare and it seems like they're trying too hard that they are not so good.

(I was a typist in my younger days, but it took forever to learn this damn computer. Takes ages just to post anything!)
