After Francis' tweets on Friday night I won't be listening to him again.

Tuned in to EON this morning and it was very good. A broad range of sports covered and good to hear some different voices.

If we let every bit of satire at our clubs get to us, we'd never enjoy anything. I'm a Tigers supporter and we're copping it from everyone, including Frank and Ox. My advice is to not let it get to you.

To be honest it was more the Boyd tweets than the Libba one, but in saying that he was not having a go at the Bulldog fans, I took it as he was having a go at the club and in particular Luke Beveridge who showed some emotion for his players.

The media has gone crazy over Boyd, and it hit its peak last week suggesting he should take a pay cut.
The club was bagged for years for not having a key forward, they take a risk on the No.1 draft pick, a key forward, and they get bagged for that.

I know this is not the forum for football talk per se, and I won't discuss it any further, other than to say seeya later Francis.

EON is only available on digital platform right? Therefore those without this facility are unable to listen, especially in their motor vehicles. There will be complaints.

Otherwise what you say makes sense. May I ask what your role at EON is?

Hope you have seen the ad for EON on FoxSports I think its going to let a lot of people know the EON is around.
Yes for a while it will be a challenge to get listeners across but EON will get there.
But EON running ads on Fox Sports compared to SEN in your Footy Record I think sums up the two

nah, but some of the DJs jumped ship from 3xy to Eon, which might be what you're thinking of.

At the risk of showing my age, 3XY was around for many years and, for memory, was the number one music station for yonks before Eon Fm started in 1980. It didn't take long (a few years?) before EON and Fox killed 3xy.
