Going to be interesting how the forward line goes. You have so many guys who can play tall now: Cox, Hogan, Lobb. The fact they all have six seasons at least left in them is pretty unreal too. When was the last time a club had a promising three-way key forward suite?

McCarthy to the wing? If he doesn’t succeed in 2019 with those guys helping him out then he never will. In a way, sussing out if McCarthy is any good or not is a nice added benefit. Playing in behind two good full forwards and centre half forwards saw him play alright and now he’ll have three.

And Sonny? He won’t know what to do now he doesn’t have to take pack marks alone or run onto every long bomb...

Damn.

Now we just need a properly attacking forward line.
