Watching the old DVDs on my Blu Ray (you can do that!) theres a clear diminishing in the picture quality over time.

Whats sad is the picture of the new series is crisp/ nice looking and in HD, with shallow material , but you watch the epic episodes and the pictures are all fuzzy, pixelated, and deteriorating
