Well if Gardi plays we definetly should do well in the centre seeings Rhen is out. Would love to see Siera get a game but dont know if that'll happen.Am interested to see how Hunter and Kasey Green go IF they play..dont know if they will though.

From the bench, i would like to see Williams, Jones, Siera and Green get a game. With Embley as the #1 emergency.
Siera could provide a good target up forward since Hay will probably keep Willow quiet.
Green could be good on Chick
Jones and Williams pick themselves
Haynes and Hunter are too inexperienced to be risked for such an important game, let them play WAFL.

I can't tell you how happy I am to see Wooden retain his spot and Kasey Green come back into the side. Wonderful players.

And thank god they left out that slow, dumb and one dimensional Darren Glass. Bringing him back to release Collica onto Chick would have been a grave mistake.

I can't tell you how disgusted i am that Banfield is still there. He should have at least been put on the bench as a warning. He played 6 bad games, got dropped, came in and played another bad game.
It sounds like Woosha is playing favorites to me and that is not a good example to set to younger players.

Conditions will be perfect for footy (fine, light winds, 24 degrees) and for marking power -something Hawthorn has in spades.
Gardiner back in-great, we are going to need him.
Banfield still in there - Woosha must owe him money or something?
Glad to see Hunter back in, and also Green. I would play Green on a half back flank, and Hunter on a half forward flank. I would like to see Siera get a game and sincerely hope he does this week.

I would drop Banfield, also Haynes and Embley from the 25. I do not think the half forward line functions properly and why not give some others a go -someone who can take a contested mark. With Wilson knocking everyone else in the forward 50 over on a regular basis, our smaller forwards should be reaping the rewards -would like to see a bit more cohesion between the small forwards this week.

Buzz, like you I think Glass should be in the best 22....not sure why he is still in the WAFL this weekend - how did he do last week?

I also think Tuckey did not get enough time on the ground last week, he will have to work hard to get back into this team now.

Sarcasm, Noodle.
I love Classy Glassy, and can't believe the likes of Josh Wooden can get a game ahead of him.

Last week Perth had the bye, Methuselah.
But the week before he was one of Perths best.

I though the idea of Merenda coming in for either Haynes or Embly also had some merit. Although it'll take a while to wipe that performance against Port from my memory.

Hmmmm, so if the club side in the WAFL an eagles player is attached to has a bye the week after he is dropped....it will be at least two weeks before he gets back into favour and more likely 3-4 weeks. Perhaps that was a problem for Glass and the selectors this time round??

Anyhow, how come there is a bye nowadays in the WAFL, when I left WA back in the 80's there were 8 teams and several of them were struggling? Will there be a new team soon to round up the numbers...Wanneroo?

Would like to see Siera, Haynes and Hunter be the emergencies...Embley is finding it, just not using it, ill give him another week. Seira to come back in such an important game IMO would be a bit dodgy. Rather ease him back against his old club next week.

Now there's 9 of them and most are still struggling! WAFL clubs solution is to throw out Peel, who get 2,500 to their home games in a growing area - which I just don't agree with. I fear the worst here.

As for the Eagles, I was told by phone last night that the only changes from last week are Gardiner & Hunter in, Tuckey and Haynes out. If true, that confirms my thoughts after last week's game that Haynes and Tuckey should be the first dropped as they did nothing. So once again Woosha shows that unlike his immediate predecessor, you get rewarded for trying to do the right thing, even if you make a mistake or three. Message to the players - get the ball, especially the hard ball.

May see Siera or Green or Haynes in at the last minute though, if there's an injury we don't know about.

Yea, Gardy and Hunter in for Tuckey and Haynes. Seems reasonable. Haynes wasn't crash hot last week and Hunter has had two exceptional games in the WAFL. I just hope he is played up front and not in defence.

I agree with others that Banners is lucky and Green unlucky. I also would have chosen Glass because he is our only emerging tall defender and needs the experience.

It's all starting to seem like the Australian cricket team now...it was time for Mark Waugh to go, but he got carried and carried and then you just knew the time would come when he'd come out and get a bullsh*t 70 and then he'd be safe for another year. Now it's Banfield. Is Woosha just waiting to see how many bad games he can play? If Glassy slept with Woosha's wife, then what did Siera do and what's Banfield doing??

I wouldn't even want to know what Banners is doing behind the scenes to get back his place...but it ain't good football.
Hopefully they play him somewhere other than than the backline to limit his damage ( i mean his opponent's damage)

Also we should have picked Glass. Macintosh is due for his injury and with Hawthorn's forward line...that means goodnight for us.

I don't think Banners should be playing and needs to be dropped for a while along with Embers, but I have faith to believe in what Whoosa is doing, so I will go along with it.

If it was Judge still coaching, I would be questioning the decision for sure.
