Dikead was comparing Richmond v Bombers last night and (surprise surprise) rated a fit Bombers a genuine top 4 and the Tiges maybe 8, but funny part rated our KPs saying the Bombers are superior because they have Hurley, Cameri and get this, Darcey Daniher for next year, and we only have Riewoldt and a suspect Vickery and Grimes who is always injured.

I don't have a problem with Hawthorn. if anything it shows we are copying the same model.
Blokes like Whitecross, Suckling and Birchall are good player, but are not worldbeaters. They look good in a good side.
The only thing we lack is a Franklin.
I am encouraged by their success.

Ok so with Richmond, the Bombers and Blues out of contention, could it be that the two clubs that we all love to hate are merely going through the motions in these remaining dead rubbers in order to beat us to the draft table? Given the way Essendon played on Fri night and the blooze going down to our arch rivals Gold Coast, an argument could be mounted. Does this then mean that Brock McLean will be looking for yet another new home?

Nothing new for Carlton but Essendon people would shout from the rooftops that they are morally above that kind of thing.
