Also, Kyle Reimers highh fiving the crowd after kicking a goal. I am glad our boys have a policy of going to their teammates and particularly the one who gave the goal assist first before anything else.
Someone needs to knock Reimers out. Milne MKII but about 95% worse as a footballer.

I havent understood the love the dogs have had this season under mccartney, aside from wins against bottom 4 sides they have been absolutely walloped in every loss....abysmal ea time they face an opponent that has registered more than 1 win

They have just had an extra year or two together than we have. I must admit, I fell into the trap into thinking they were rubbish as well. They are actually the real deal. They have turned into the quickest team in the comp after being the slowest four years ago.
I had a mate say two weeks ago and he is a Dogs fan, so no bias and he reckons 2014 Essendon vs Richmond grand final and he is adament about it.

They lack some quality talls, but if Cordy and Roughead can come through, they might not be down for too long. Their problem is that their best players are Boyd and Murphy etc and they aren't young. Yes Griffen is a star and has plenty of years left but Cooney looks washed up.
Dalhaus, Smith, Wallis and Liberatore will be very decent. I don't think they will bottom out, but I agree, they have not been very good this year at all.
I would love to beat this team. We have been St Kilda's and Dogs' bitches for 10 years. We turned the corner against the Saints, and I want to do it the Dogs and make them hurt.

Not all the reasons that certain clubs do better than others are tangible. Essendon have a pedigree of success that always stands them in good stead and gives them a certain swagger, arrogance and confidence. They know how to withstand pressure and win crunch games. They're almost the polar opposite of us in that regard. Money to burn. Big end of town/establishment support. Umpires love them. Media loves them. Fall into finals even with negative win/loss ratios. Fans are soft bandwagoners. Everything we're not.

God I hate those bastards.

The benefit of a quality coaching panel is you should generally make more right calls than wrong calls, thats why last year they fell into finals and we didnt....i reckon our off field support has improved but sheesh they have gone from strength to strength

The common theme amongst top 4 or 5 sides is the multiple quality forward options....we are lacking badly in that dept. our coaching panel at their wits end to try and introduce something that fires

I want North to win. Look at their fixture, it's reasonably difficult for a team like North. St.Kilda are better than the Roos.

Our game against North is going to be 50/50 definitely don't have it penciled in like the majority of our supporters.
Brisbane at the Gabba will also be very tough, there midfield is awesome at the moment.
All of a sudden that leaves us with 5 hard games; Essendon, Carlton and Fremantle being the others.
Considering we can only afford to lose two games for the rest of the year, I cant see us making the finals.
