Pretty sure I saw a bloke wearing a tigers jumper on top of the col du richemond in France, during tonight's stage of le tour!
Another one today half way up col de Madelienne - female in Tigers Jumper being chased by a hawk jumper as she chased the leaders for about ten paces.

Hoping for a draw tonight:D Both have similar fixtures in the run home and of course are fighting with us for the same spot, hopefully they belt shit out of each other as well:thumbsu:

North are up and about. I hope Dimma and the coaches are watching and can identify a way to slow the Kangas tempo down. If you can slow the tempo, you can beat them. Let them run and handball and they'll destroy you because they back themselves one-on-one every time.

Ladies, Gentlemen, boys and girls....
Fasten your seat belts because we are about to jump on a rollercoaster.
IMO the games against Kangaroos and Carlton are the biggest games we have played since 2001. Win both and we make finals.
It's gonna be hard considering the talent we have lost;
Foley - third best inside & outside midfielder (behind Cotchin & Tuck)
Grimes - Best defender
Vickery - Center half Foward
Before anyone bags Vickery, I don't like to drop stories but I spoke to someone who knows what's going on and apparently Vickery hasn't been able to raise one arm since the pre season (when he injured it) which would explain why he pulled out of so many contested situations. IMO I think it's disgraceful that we got Vickery to play injured; exactly the same as getting Jack to play injured last year... He hasn't been the same since.
Just goes to show how poor our depth is.
Anyways, enough excuses about injured players... This next month is the biggest month of the Richmond football club in over 10 years! I just hope at the end of it I'm singing "Yellow&Black" with the rest of my tiger brothers and sisters...
GO TIGES!

Ps. Pretty blind when I wrote this but I stand by every word.

They play almost the same as the Bombers a few years back, tear you apart at Etihad and play exciting offensive footy. Still reckon they are suspect as you said when the game is slowed down, and as shit as the Blues were with no forward line they still only had a few less scoring shots and scored around 100pts.

They play an identical brand and game plan to us.

In about 3 weeks, the cats supporters will know what I was trying to tell them back when we played them and should have won. That they are shit and dont know it yet...and the thing is if we come to the party we will replace them in the 8 as they join the other shit truck in the tankers, for a September filled with lawn mowing. Come on tigers, time to stamp the message..

They don't chip around like us. They get the pill and go smack bang down the middle as quick as they can every time which makes them able to kick to Petrie and Thomas/Adams in one-on-one contest Pagan's paddock style. We **** around a bit more sideways, which is some of the reason of why so many of our shots come from the pockets and our conversion is poor. There is a reason their points for is one of the best in the league, because they back themselves to outscore the opposition and therefore are okay with giving up nearly the highest points against. In both categories they exceed us by around 300 points. The run and carry, and handball usage is very similar but we are far more controlled in our game plan in trying to teach our players defense first (a work in progress) while the Kangas want to get out on offense first.

Next week is going to be interesting as to whose method wins.
