For a team that has it's back line talked up, Essendon are prone to leaking goals quicker than anyone in the comp. And Fletcher spent the night on Chapman????

This is how I reckon the season will pan out for Essendon. This would leave them on 12 wins and potentially miss the 8. One can only hope (Makes the Tigers game a big one)

Essendon Result
GEELONG CATS Loss
HAWTHORN Loss
ADELAIDE Loss
NORTH MELBOURNE Win
CARLTON Loss
RICHMOND Loss
COLLINGWOOD Loss

Cats are home bugger it...early night

Loved every minute of it. The thing is that the Cats were not that good IMO, it was the bummers with the perennial been there done that list of hacks that once more came to the fore, with the Dysons, Wonderbras, Lovett Murrays(their version of our Whitey) and Hille with a few others.
Monfries went missing when the acid was poured, like the universe knows and that was about the end of it.

The whole deal now is it is up to us to up the ante and get the results. At the end of the day, to make finals we need to win games against teams that are jostling for a position. That means we won our way into finals, not lost our way into them, with other teams stumbling and falling by the way side. With the remaining games we have, and taking into account that we do up the ante and get back our mojo, i see no reason why R22 hasnt 100K roaring at the G as we front up against the bummers for dreamtime payback and a chance to nab 7th spot. Lets get over the Roos and I can envisage a run of about 4 straight wins..

To tell you the truth, starting to think last weeks abberration, might be the reality check that we needed in terms of the last 4 weeks and might be just be the spark we needed to WAKE THE **** UP.

If we can ream the Dawks and blow away the Swans, i see no reason why we should not be setting our sights on 7th, when we have the Roos, Tankers(dead in the water), Lions, Dogs coming up before we then front up to the G in R22 against the bummers.

But one week at a time. And this week, IMO looms as one of the most important games for the club in the last 25 years or so..

They will surely beat Carltank?

is that f..kwit Leimo still on it ?

Cannot put into words how much i hate that very unfunny prick .

wish i could have seen him after we pantsed his beloved hawks
I would have loved to have been driving up Punt Road when he was washing windscreens in full Richmond gear.
Stuffed if I know how he has a job as a comedian, he actually makes Rove McManus look funny.

Essendon has a pretty tough run home, unlikely but not impossible for them to be closed in on by the group battling for 8th spot.
Hawthorn next week
Adelaide in Adelaide
North
Carlton
Richmond
Collingwood

I would wet my pants with happiness if they missed out.
The amount of genuinely vitriolic and hateful texts and FB posts I got last week after our loss were from Essendon supporters. Their supporters have no concept of humility and are always full of excuses.
I bit my tongue as we all did after that as there was no choice, but I am locked and loaded when they finally do stumble spectacularly out of the race.

Today's Hawthorn/Collingwood result only confirms that we will be right up there in the next few years.

We belted the Hawks by 62 points by not allowing them to play the way they have today.
