That it would. I maintain that he was never a bad footballer. Had we taken him with 16 or 20 that year than the issue would not of been so huge. Was a great player at junior level, captained nt, deserved the spot.... he was just no buddy franklin. Supporters hate.... he loses confidence and it all spirals downhill ... he'd be good coverage on a rookie wage... willing to do what it takes and it will be a feelgood story

Yeah.. IMO he would be an awesome pickup as a rookie but I reckon plenty of other clubs would be interested. Anyway, enough Tambling talk... the other Richmond posters might hear us

No they wont, there are a couple of examples they'd like to make out of this when dishing out the punitive action
Rogue player managers and parents
Unscrupulous players
A club and officials that rorted the system to retain a player
There will be heavy penalties and de registrations....no room for being lax otherwise it sets a precedent for next incident

Careful. They will deny it and say we were hearing things and it was only a small portion of drunk fans.

I think 39,000 out of 45,000 booed and jeered him that day. Was dreadful, felt for the bloke. They will do it again, he is a confidence player, he will lose his confidence again. Definitely a frustrating player, but funny enough is their second best player. Fancy that, Premiership contender.
