only reason is when the boys panic they bomb it in the fifty and it gets rebounded out immediately with cloke he might grab a few and hopefully slot a few through.
i agree tho when we play on song we dont need him and no team can beat us, i just hate for grand final day be a wet day or a day when the boys are bombing it forward with no targets.

Garlett is possibly feeling a bit out of sorts atm. If I was Ratts, I would give him a week off to get his head sorted out. All Garlett needs to do is start slotting a few goals and his confidence will return.

Also I really dont see him wanting to return to Perth at this point in his career. However, if he did go... it would have to be for a tall established forward. I agree that JK would do it.

Where he was picked is irrelevant. He's no doubt out of form but he's already shown he can play at a level much higher than Swift has ever shown. He's not worth Shuey or Kennedy but offering up Swift won't get you far.

You do realise Garlett kicked 39 goals in his second season of footy and 48 in his third? Only the elite small forwards manage those figures. Can't think of any who kicked so many goals at 21.

Ash Smith's only claim to fame is the douchiest profile picture in the competition.

48 goals last year and 39 the year before is a lot more than Brown, Swift or Smith have ever shown. If he does want to go I certainly hope we don't settle for blokes of this sort of quality just because he's had a down year. Would be better off with a pick.
