Interesting that Robinson has finally let the cat out of the bag about his broken hand.
Apparently tweeting the fact so it must be O.K. now.

Just qualify the rumour that was laid here or somewhere earlier this week.

Yeah that was my post. I heard it through a friend who used to work at the club so i guess still knows people down there and he heard it from someone within the club apparently. Didn't tell me who because to be honest we aren't that good friends and just see each other at the footy.

All he said was Garlett is having family problems and wants to return to WA. Might be just for a little while or at the end of the year or for good. I'm not sure. Just really posted it to help explain his poor form.

Poseidon didn't start the fire, but was somewhat ambitious in his announcement.

There have been rumours beforehand that Garlett had some issues.
Nothing new here and it's always seems to rear its head when players are out of form.

It's rare that any club will have all their list in the right head-space at any given time, yet when things do awry at the club, any such issues get brought up as some sort of catalyst for the problems.
If Jeffy is indeed having difficulties, he'll have the good people at our club to rally around him as they have done previously for many a player.

Am pointing out that he did start it on this thread - no mention what so ever of trading Garlett prior to his post. None. (Maybe in previous incarnations, but not here).
And yes was aware of the rumours last year, but Jeffy came out himself and squashed that as unmitigated shit. And signed on.

So there are no rumours, no one is claiming to have heard a rumour, nothing. Poseidon just posted it and people have run with it - there is no rumour, he started it - and its bullshit.

Just as people are equally allowed to start bullshit rumours - Im allowed to squash them.

Lets move on from speculating about trading Garlett - .

There used to be a department store in the centre of Melbourne... where Myer's is now I think...

That describes perfectly how much sun has been seen in the UK this summer...

I am looking at heading down to Spain, Portugal, Italy or Greece for a week just to get some sun. Would be more sun than I will see all summer in the UK I think...
