Maybe:

Dees: Johnstone -> Essendon
Essendon: Pick 6 -> Freo
Fremantle Murphy -> Dees

Not sure if Murphy commands that much respect though :p.
no way. You would have to trade Tarrent and Solomon together to get a high pick

Robbo has had the bait dangled by the WB
Dees mite demand and get # 5 from WB
with #4 and # 5 would be in a healthy position to push for Juddy.

Dees need another KPP forward ie Tatter - mite need to cut lose another "youngster"
for a first rounder to on trade to Freo??

Robertson's what, 28-29. If Melbourne get pick 5 for a 28/29 year old medium sized forward it would be the deal of the century. I'd say Robbo and Murphy have a similar trade value, both would be worht a pick between 15 and 20.

The club that signs him will be hoping more than knowing he returns to his 2002-2006 form. His explosiveness off the mark is his bread and butter if he can't reproduce that and comes back to the field by only 5-10% he no longer an excellent player but maybe a a very good player.

The question is can Judd help his new club to a flag in the next 4-5 yrs?

AT carlton - probably not need a ruckman of note and list won't hit straps till
2011 judd will be 28.
at Colonwood (if they don't throw out the baby with the bath water in securing him) yes but the cost to get high. first round picks would be too great a hit to list.
AT hawks definitely- at lot of first round picks now going into their 4 th yrs in 2008

If Buddy and a couple of first rounders were offered up the Slime would be salivating. They wouldn't contemplate mark williams or chance bateman

I was suprised when Connolly said that Tarrant's calves were much worse than we thought. In soccer a player is sent for a full medical before he is signed by a new club. I knew that wasn't standard practice in footy, but I would have thought there would be a medical report supplied if there were any injury concerns.

If Carlton can get Judd while retaining Fevola I'd expect them to finish top ten next season and possibly play finals if they have a good run with injuries. Nick Stevens didn't play this year. Adding Judd + Stevens to any line up would be worth atleast 5 wins. Their backline is okay and their forward line is good. Marc Murphy is already a good player, and Gibbs will be much better next year. If Kruezer can play 15 games next year including time in the ruck the Blues could challenge for a flag in 2009. Collingwood finished 15th two years ago and could play in a grand final this year.

I agree with your assessment of Carlton.
Wouldn't want anything from Collingwood.
I'd also like to keep Murphy. Don't see why people want to get rid of him - I see a lot of potential.
