I dont get why everyone cared about the shirt swapping I just cared that he was an awful footballer.
)It happens all the time in Brazil though at half time in league games.Because for a £6 million purchase only 18 months ago the shirt swapping was the only thing he'll ever be remembered for (and alright for being pretty crap, but the shirt swapping mainly.)
Newcastle United managing director Derek Llambias admits they see Alan Pardew as a 20-year manager.
Lulz
And yet the bastards only gave him an eight year contract.
Don't know why Bayern want him. Gomez and Manzukic score just about every game they play.Dortmund desperte not to sell Lewandowski to Bayern so United in pole (hehe) position
All rumours I think but I can see how it would work with Rooney moving into CMI'm not entirely sure why United want him either, surely RVP's doing a good enough job.
8 years is still very generous and unprecedented for managers. Word is there is a clause where we would only need to pay out 1 season's salary if we sacked him earlier tha his contract.
Not worth it imo. Needs 1 more stand out season to be worth that kind of money. However with the amount of money your mob has, you might as well go for itus paying 20 mil for benteke is currently my favourite 'rumour' around

Buying Benteke isn't pissing it away. It would be a risk but it could pay great dividends. Besides, it's not your money and it's not like you have limited money such as Arsenalno we shouldnt. just because we have money doesnt mean we should piss it away
Balotelli was 4th in line and you paid more than that for him. Yes for 20mil you could probably do better but it wouldnt be stupid to buy Bentekespending 20 million on benteke would indeed be pissing it away. he's not a 20 mil rated player. buying a player for that price i'd want something more proven than scoring goals for a relegation candidate. for 20 mil you want a striker who will improve your strikeforce, 20 mil for a 4th in line striker is just stupid.
and i know it's not my money, no idea what that has to do with logically looking at a transfer and the value of a player. it's not 2009, we're not just trying to buy anyone and everyone.
From what I am reading it was 23m. The only reason I wouldn't buy him is that he is young and needs gametime which he will not get at City like Sinclair. If he would actually play then he would be a good getwe paid 18 mil for mario, who is also a lot better than benteke and was not 4th choice until about 6 weeks into this season.
and anyone you can get someone better and go ahead and buy someone worse is a stupid buy.
