Sitting 7th with 14 left 9 to make the money. Blinds and antes are getting huge.
The power goes off.

Power came back on a couple of hours later, so jumped on the pc to see how I went. Only to find FT was down so had to wait till this morn to find I went out in 8th for some coin.
Probably better to sit out the buble as I went out in 10th a couple back.

Two live sessions tonight, a lot of pain for the wallet, and I even lost my cool... Session could go in both the Burswood and the Pub poker thread, but this one is the most fitting...

So anyway, Im playing 2/3 with a mate at the Impact Bar in the city. I actually won the first hand of the night with 77. Flop A63, I bet 6 into 9 as we had limped pre and got one call. Turn was a blank, I bet 15 and got a call. The river was another blank, and I missed a value bet and checked behind and win vs a 6. So basically I put him on a 6, and checked behind when he has a hand that calls 15-20 more... lol...

Then it all goes pear shaped. I lose a flip for big cash. I get QQ and run into KK. Another played also tagged along and the flop was Axx and I lose to AK. I suck at the pokers...

Another hand that made me LOL. I have the ATss and see a flop I think with me raising. The flop was KTx with two hearts. There is a bet somewhere, and calls. Turn is the Qh, and we both check. River is the Ah. This is a very scary board, and I lead something like a third pot, thinking he cant have any flush except a royal, and I think that without the royal he cant raise me. He shoves I snap fold face up and congratulate him on the royal with KxJh. He seems shocked I knew what he had... Next hand Mr Royal gets aces lol...

The sick thing about this half an hour session before the tournament started was that I played maybe 12 of 15 hands. Not from being excessively lose, but constantly getting hands such as AJ, QQ, and viably seeing flops etc...

In the end I get down to about 60 and check-shove with the second nut flush draw on the flop and a gutterball. I miss, and it turned out my FD wasnt live... loldonkaments...

So thats $200 down the drain in pretty quick time. I reload for the break and go on a mini-heater. I get AA and get no action, but at least I win a freakin hand. I then flop a set and get some money, and flop a pair and get some money...

A hand I would like some feedback on. I raise with K9 to 13 in maybe the CO. A call from the shortstack button, who thinks he is very good, he is ok, but wants everyone to hear his poker wisdom, or at least he thinks so... One of the blinds effectively minraises. He is pretty deep, probably the best villian at the table except for some occasinal "screwups" and I call, button announces how bad calling in this spot from him is, so calls with over half his stack now in the middle. Flop Q9x. BB checks, I check, button shoves for about 1/4 pot. BB calls, I raise...

Had I won that pot, I end up only $40 shy for the night. Instead, Im still stuck a BI. This is where things turn ugly...

I get a freebie in the BB with 45o 3 ways. Flop 845. SB checks, I check with the intention to raise the limper who was reaching but he checks too? Turn is a 6. SB bets 10, I call, limper calls. River is an ace I think. SB checks, I make a thin? value bet to 20. Limper snap calls, SB folds. I announce two pairs and he nods. I roll my 45o and he nods. The dealer takes out the $7 in rake, and he nods. The dealer stacks the pot and begins to ship in my direction, when out of nowhere BOOM!! Set of 4's... At this point, kind of built up from frustration, I let out of a bit of an outburst ending with me two handed hitting the table, which looked childish... Not a good look, but still, FFS is turning over two pieces of plastic really that hard? FFS.

Then I miss a few draws, standard. I get sucked out on, standard. Then I lose a pot getting my money in bad and all of a sudden I have $29 in front of me. I thought about using the cash for a cheap carton and calling it a night but nope, lets run it up to a million. I get A9cc and raise to 10, one call and the rest fold. I plan on shoving maybe 90% of boards... Flop Q97 with a club, I shove. The caller, different from the other slowroller, thinks for a moment. Cuts out 4 reds, moves forward, then withdraws. Then thinks, and after about 45 seconds-1 minute, calls. I announce 9 and Im pretty sure Im either winning on a kicker, or fading a draw... Nope, A SET OF ****ING SEVENS... HOW THE **** DO YOU NEED 45 SECONDS TO CALL CLOSING THE ACTION FOR LESS THEN POT AGAINST A SHORTSTACK WITH A SET OF ****ING SEVENS.... The turn is a club, but I never get to use my one time...

I go home down two BI, drop off a mate and hang around at his to watch the movie Rounders. Unfortunately this inspires me to go to the casino and that it is just one big session and I need to get off the canvas...

So yep, second hand in I get the Q:spade:J:spade:. Two limps, I elect to limp which is bad I think. We see a flop maybe 7 handed. Flop is K74 or something with two spades. Checked to me, I bet 15 and get two callers. Turn is a blank. I decide to bet agains on the semi-bluff, and get one caller. River is a blank nine. Im OOP and decide to take another stab, and get called for 40 I think. I announce queen high, and fully expect to lose to most likely a weak king or a hand like A7. Nope, A9 is good sir... Also, and ace was mucked face up on the flop accidently...

So I lose that pot, win a small one with air, then get KTs. I raise to 15, get raised to 30, and someone limp/shoves for 44. I know this raise isnt legal, so I call with the intention to see whether he shoves or not to get an added idea of the strength of his hand. He tries to shove, I get the ruling and announce Im folding anything worse then two pair... I actually flop a gutshot. I check and he bets 5, and I call. He looks a bit weird at me because I had kind of held my cards out before he bet looking to fold. Turn I miss, he bets 25, I fold, he has top set of queens...

So yeah, tilty town and Mr set of Queens stacks me when I have AJ on a TT4 4 board thinking I can get him off 55-99 and if he calls Im drawing live as I raised pre. Nope, he has T4 for the headshot...

Reload, and our table breaks, I join another one. First major hand I play. Three limpers and I overlimp KJo (flame away). Maybe 6 to a flop, which is J62r. A fish on my right bets (He wanted a hand ranking chart, so he wasnt that great) I should have raised and isolated my widdle fishy but I flat like that champion I am. Two other callers. Turn is the 8h, heart draw now. Checked to me and I bet 40 into maybe 60. Two callers. River is the As, because it is always the ****ing As... Some dude donks 50 into what is now like 200. I cry and call and pray for a busted draw. Yep, he says he missed his heart draw... before rolling AK. I cry inside...

I fold the next hand which is A7o which is obv standard. Flop 776 and a LOT of action goes in this limped pot, and I had the lone 7, it was 99, two separate 6's and I think a FD... I cry again...

In the end I shove over a raise for 70ish all in with AKo and get two callers. All of sudden, Im in a big pot for 200. Flop is 7 high, and I lose to someone's 88....

So cliffs...

3rd night in a row Ive bubbled the $6 GT omaha tourney.
