Nice feature article about Jack Crisp (on the Lions page) in the AFL Record this week.
In summary it says:
1)He's gone from a rookie to the Lions' best 22 in six weeks
2) in the disapointing loss to the Bombers, he was a shining light, collecting 16 disposals and two goals
3) (Quote): ......"it's not so nerve racking anymore....I'm just starting to get a feel for the game"
4) he was "itching" to play Collingwood tonight, hoping the Lions could break their drought against top eight teams
PITY THE AUTHOR DIDN'T MENTION THAT HE WAS DROPPED FOR THE GAME!
Now my vent is not against the writer of the article but at the abject stupidity of "rewarding" a young player who performed at a high level in such a way.
Another in a series of perplexing team changes and positional hatchet jobs.

FFS.....pick the side on form and play the players in position!!!
PS. For crying out loud: give Banners a run in the two's.....he current from is woeful
