____ing awesome sainters. :thumbsu::D

To absolutely turn our whole game around is absolutley awesome. But see what happens when you run and breaklines into a forward line with bodies in it. We haven't seen run like that in ages.

Will really boost their confidence and mine too for the coming weeks and beyond.

Loving the move of Goddard and Gram rotating through the midfield.

Whoever says Riewoldt shouldn't be captain has no ____ing idea.

Carlton in 2 weeks, couldn't get any more massive.

One more thing....

We're in the 8 :thumbsu:

yep!!:thumbsu:

Great win!!

Riewoldt is a starr (obviously):D

they all tried hard..

well dun to Ross Lyon tellin them to play on and run!! But it really was all the players.. showing that theyre so much betta without the lyon lockdown

Lets keep it g0in' !!;)

Only 5 games out of first. Go Saints!

Dal said after the game that he couldn't remember the last time we came from behind to win a game like that.

Sure, we might not be playing attractive football on the eye but once again we dug deep. Last week was satisfying because we held on despite the injuries to key players and having three debutants in the team. This week was even better because we've stormed home from behind, and interstate no less! It was nice to hear Eddy and Allen get singled out for their efforts on the fifth quarter as well.

Dal Santo, Koschitzke and Milne really stood up in the last quarter when it counted and Nick Riewoldt showed why he's our captain with another best on ground performance.

Really proud of the guys tonight. :thumbsu:

Just about everyone who lives south-east of Melbourne would've heard my roar of delight at the final siren.

Too tied up with bloody chores to watch the first half closely, but the game sucked me in and turned out to be a ripper.

Great to finally see Milney let loose interstate, and props to McQualter, his last quarter was very very good.

As for Riewoldt and Harvey...

Wondered what that noise was. ;)

I know we were bolstered by the inclusion of Dal Santo, Koschitzke and Milne after dropping a few of the kids but we still had a lot of young players tonight and over the past couple of weeks they've just reinvigorated the side I reckon.

Allen was crashing the packs all night and Eddy's tireless running and willingness to put his body on the line was fantastic. McQualter was a little quiet for much of the game and Brent Harvey left him in his wake for that time but full credit to him for the way he stuck at it. Boomer wasn't even a factor in that last quarter.

A bit of credit should go to Blake as well. He does polarise our supporters a little and I'm man enough to admit I can often be one of his critics but he took Corey Jones out of the day and worked really hard. He must have done something to the umpires in a past life though. Over the past few weeks he's been penalised for shepherding when running back to stop an opponent and having them jump all over him and yet when it's him leaping for the ball against a retreating opponent he's the one penalised. Anyway, great stuff Blakey! And I liked King's game. He gives us the strong physical presence in the middle that we've lacked for so long.

Oh yeah one more thing Queensland saints supporters ____ing own. Made it feel like a home ground and weren't afraid to let the interchange ump they're thoughts. :thumbsu::)

well i have to say i thought i was in for a longgg night at the start was even startin to bag r stupid flooding and game plan but really proud of the boys to dig deep because dal is 100% correct when he says cant remember the last time we came back doesnt happen very often! although we havnt been playing superb and have been down on few players to notch 2 in a row into the break very happy with that and huge game against carlton coming up but wev definitely put ourselves in a great position to make a run at the finals. Oh and one last thing - riewoldt is the man! magnificent game and also good improvement from kozi

Yepp so am i and how good was it to see the song sung with gusto. :thumbsu:

Hahaha. I launched into it with them!!!!!!!

Ripping work from our brothers!!!!!

What a win! I can't remember the last time we came from behind to beat a team. And the players looked happier with the win then they have for a very long time!

Easily the best win of the year I reckon. After months of poor football it just takes one good half to make me remember why I love the Saints :D

Hahaha! They'll test us Tas & only us true will pass ;)

Great victory. Hopefully we have turned the corner, as this was a great victory (Melbourne and Fremantle win meant very little)

Spot on. Jones continually plays for free kicks (and does his "oohhh mummy!" look to the umpire). Blakey is one of the clumsiest players in the comp and the umps do not rate him. But against the odds he did the job - Jones had only 4 kicks and one shot on goal for a behind.

King was great. Thought it was a big ask to take on the bulk of ruck duties two games in a row whilst travelling, but did it no problem.
