I dunno about the other teams, but Perugia's traditional symbol is a griffin, so at Perugia games they would have a giant griffin which was pretty cool...

Anyway, what about those American teams called things like "Burn" and "Fusion"? What the hell are those mascots? And the San Jose Earthquakes? Huh? Huh? Huh?

My favourite was the Memphis Maniax (I think that was their spelling) of the now defunct (love that word!) XFL. Didn't go over well with mental health care workers!

Our soccer team is the Chicago Fire. I think their mascot is a pyromaniac!

I reckon they should name teams after REALLY scary things if they wanted to intimidate the opposition.... well, things that scare me.... for example....

Friday night was spent listening to the Roos pump the hapless Cats on MMM radio.

Saturday was officially 'Clean Brett's Room Day' in the Collett household, so I did my room over the whole day, while plying my trade on the internet too. Saturday night was spent watching the mighty Hawks beat to a pulp an awfully pathetic Demon outfit, while talking to PP on MSN messenger.

Got like 4 hours sleep that night, then watched some T.V.,then headed down to sandy and watched as Box Hill beat Sandy with Chris and DCFC.

Got home, laid around...not a bad weekend

Friday: Sat there and watch the Roos steam roll Geelong, whilst getting ****faced.

Saturday: Watched Local side. Saw Crows make a mess of Carlton (and Fatty Whitnall make a mess of Stenglein). Stole a carpark orange thingy (it looks like a floating boyd thing) and then got mooned by some ******** coming home from the footy.

Sunday: Lazied around and watched Sydney lose, then slept till 8. Woke up jumped on the net and then watched Man Utd lose to Liverpool.

Friday night, bummed around home, watched tele with my wife after our son went to bed.

Sat up at 4am (thanks to short fry. Gee it's grouse...) did the usual boring home-owning domestic stuff then headed off to play footy (yay!). Played between 2-3 qtrs on a back & forward flank. No goals, is bad. We won, is good. Is Finals.

Sat night, watched the hawks melb game and mucked about on the 'puter (Diablo II is adictive!).

Sun More domestic duties then off to the footy at colonical. Fout heart attacks later got home, had tea and collapsed into bed.

Phew.

Hey Hitman, you just reminded me of what I did on Saturday and Sunday morning. I cleaned my room Saturday morning, because I was up early getting my new mobile phone (and receiving a damn $127 bill today for 3 weeks! NOT HAPPY!), and then on Sunday morning, I decided since it was all nice and clean and I was up at 8am for some unknown reason I'd try and waste energy by moving all my furniture around. Did you know that wakes you up even more!!!!!!!
