Cheese was innocent and sweet once too, ya know.

This is what makes The Wire so great. Season 4 shows the full cycle of urban poverty The violence and drugs and the hopelessness of the children's plight. Most kids growing up in that sort of neighbourhood do end up like Randy and Dukey and that's what makes the story poignant and unlike most Tv dramas.

Just finished season 5 then. Marlo is one BAMF, probably my favourite character, along with McNulty.

Probably gonna give it a week or two and then do a re-watch from season 1.

Greatest show of all time in my opinion, without a doubt.
