Now that we have finished playing the heavy hitters, i believe the players on list have had their chance to show us what they are REALLY made of, i dont care if sylvia kicks 5 against the tiges and has 30 touches, that would further prove the theory of 'frontrunner'

Im well aware you would be lucky to get even 2nd round picks for spencer, warnock and bate, but they are worth a 3rd rounder atleast
Colin Sylvia will fit in perfectly at the saints or swans
Brad Green probably cant be delisted, but he can have the captaincy stripped atleast

I believe all 3 of maric, bennell and morton are young enough to persist with, whilst morton is hanging by a thread.. you cant cut your losses too early on a bloke who is still only 21

Bennell really hasn't come on as yet, I'd give him more time and a better coach. He only started playing football in 2007.

I'd like to see Jetta in. Quite a hard tackler would respnd well to Todd. Maric has it, just needs someone to really push him.

The whole list needs a push. We have had three soft coaches starting from Balme, Danners and bailey, really need a hard switched on person to take over.

You're nuts if you're de-listing Davey and Maric. Davey was one of the best players going around at his best a few years ago, and Maric is a 21 year old first rounder who has at least shown something and quite often. A trade, if not keeping them.

Brad Green - Hes had a hortible year, but I believe he can still be effective for the next couple of seasons as long as he doesnt have a leadership position. We have hardly any older bodies, cant just go delisting them unless they are complete hacks.

Colin Sylvia - This is a no-brainer. Explosive, hard bodied player who will explode under the right coach.

Aaron Davey - One of the only elite kicks we have. Another hwo will have a new lease on life with a proper coach guiding him.

Cale Morton - Wont have much trade value, so better off seeing what a new coach can do for him.

Jamie Bennell -Way too early to get rid of him.

Addam Maric - Same as Bennell, th potential is there. Should be perservered with.




TRADE

Matthew Bate - might fetch a late pick if we are lucky.

DELIST

Warnock, Newton, Spencer.



The more I think about it, the more I realise that we just need a seasoned hardened coach who has had past success who will get the best out of every player and turn us into a proper team and cohesive unit.

I doint think a list cleanout is required at all.

Of course it isn't! Anyone who thinks so is completely deluded, we've endured years of pain to put together this list that almost beat the premiers twice last year! Amongst other very promising games, with the youngest average playing age in the competition, barring the Gold Coast.

Brad Green - Keep/Trade/Delist - had a big 2010 playing in the forward line - for some reason he's spent most of 2011 playing up the ground???
Colin Sylvia- Keep/Trade/Delist - hasn't been that bad, has lacked ticker on occasions but a decent coach will turn that around.
Aaron Davey- Keep/Trade/Delist - been tagged out of games several times and I can't recall him once dragging his man to the forward line (where he smashed it up in his 1st few years). A good coach would have identified that and sent him forward.
Cale Morton - Keep/Trade/Delist - as much as he s#@ts me to tears he has shown he can play (albeit not in 2011). He needs another chance (it hurt more to squirt that out than last night's curry!!)
Matthew Bate- Keep/Trade/Delist - has never genuinely dominated or been consistent. I love the ranga, but too many in his role now.
Jamie Bennell- Keep/Trade/Delist – too young to sack just yet and has shown something. 1 more year.
Addam Maric- Keep/Trade/Delist – reckon he’s shown plenty but has been mis-managed. He’s at his best when match fit, needs a run through the middle each week to keep up to speed. Reckon Pies will be circling here because they’ll know how to manage him.
Matthew Warnock- Keep/Trade/Delist – haven’t decided yet. He needs to play the last 3 games against weaker opposition to determine whether he stays on the list as back-up. Never know, he may even be able to reproduce some of his VFL form.
Michael Newton – Keep/Trade/Delist – not sure why he’s still there…..
Jake Spencer- Keep/Trade/Delist - young ruckman, not sure TBH, but with Stef improving, and I think there’s more to come, I think we can trade (if possible) and try again

Don't think you can sack a player that has performed well, and consistently, through a season while playing through a period where the coaching was so sub-standard it wasn't AFL level. With a decent coach there will be massive improvement, let’s just hope we have a decent coach next year.
