Things appear to be heating up over the St Kilda vs Richmond game, especially on the main AFL board. Let Sunday's match do the talking guys.

St Kilda are expected to win, if they dont they will be exposed.

All the pressure is on the Saints just like it was on Freo last week.

But just like the win last Sunday if the Tiges get up, dont expect everyone to praise the tigers they will just bag the saints. Richmond will never get praise because there is too many people who dont want to see us do well.

I say bring on the Saints !!!

If we beat the Saints, we will not get the praise we deserve because people love to loathe us.

This game is being touted as the 'test' for the Tigers and because there is such a huge emphasis being placed on this match, i don't want the team to get ahead of themselves if they do actually get up.

This game could be a dangerous one for us to win.......however i'm sure TW will know exactly how to keep the boys focused if in fact we do get over the line.

Yeah, St Kilda and Geelong supporters very arrogant after last year, and this year. Hope we proove to them that arrogance earned them a loss to a team with nothing to lose.

This bigfooty site is really full of some jokers I just refuse to debate with.

All I expect from this year is gradual improvement meaning winning games we are not favourites for - Allready done that twice Dogs and Freo.

And to continue to make improvement by pulling off a couple of surprises against 1 or 2 of the top 6 sides from last year. Saints may be one or maybe not as long as we have a dip I will be happy. Not expecting anything major this year or possibly next.

Just one more thing to remember where were Brisbane 3 years before thier 3 peat and St Kildas climb to Challenger. Things change pretty fast and the early signs for the Tigers future look OK ATM.

This might sound like flawed logic, but I actually reckon we as a club would get more of a positive outcome of we lost to the Saints and then bounced back and beat Port next weekend.

My point being, no-one expects us to win this weekend, whilst we all hope that we can atleast be competitive. If we loose the doom sayers will be back on the "there go the Tigers, they'll loose 10 straight now" bandwagon.

If we could then get over Port, people might actually then sit up and sday, "hang on, maybe these guys aren't too bad afterall" I guess it's all about respect, and whilst beating the Saints would certainly deliver a healthy slice, backing up after a loss and getting over Port might do the same.

In some ways I disagree with the scribes saying that we will be tested when we beat someone of real quality. For me the big test is when we start to regualrly win games when we are expected to do as the favourite. Its much easier to win as underdog.

We are gonna sneek under guard of a few for a while but when we can knock off those below us quite comfortably I will start thinking we have made it upwards a fair way.
