As the parent of a tattooed child (who is old enough to know better
) I’m thankful to have avoided the rest. (Tbf, many of our onfield heroes have also adorned themselves. But like you, I don’t get it.)

I love tattoos as I’m an art lover to me it’s just a form of expression of your interests. They are a talking piece, a memorandum of love and life.

Sometimes...
Usually you have to get up close to see what the tattoo is. From any distance it just looks like a mess. It makes me sad to see a young girl spoil her beautiful skin, especially in wedding photos. Face, neck, head and hands should never be tattooed unless you are planning for a life on the dole.

Pretty sure even cops can have tatts now. Id be a tad nervous if i was having open heart surgery and the doctor had a face tatt though

Also tatts are shit, not a fan. But like anything I voice my disinterest by not being covered in them. If you think having a tribal tattoo when you are so pale you get sunburnt by a full moon is cool good for you but it's no from me.
What I don't get is people who get tatts, piercings, weird haircuts etc. and are then surprised if people judge them. I've worked with everyone from cleanskins who won't leave the house without short back and sides and a clean shave and others with the full traditional Maori face tatts with the bit between the bottom lip and chin. None of it stops you doing your job but you make your own choices. It's no accident the staff at JB Hifi and Bed Bath & Table are quite different.

I am usually for tattoos but a girl I used to know had a poorly done dream catcher on her thigh and unless you were within about 2m of her it just looked like a huge patch of scribble.
