Having orecchiette with basil pesto tonight. Delicious and works out to be $2.50 a meal!

Chuck some frozen peas in with the pasta when it's boiling, then a bit of feta, some spinach and a dried chilli when you add the pesto.

I prefer it to most tomato sauces. It has a nicer flavour and texture. Sundried tomato pesto with pasta is fantastic too.

but was thinking to myself last night as i was cooking dinner for us, how ****ing good is this. just 2 people who genuinely like each other and being around one another, just enjoying little things together
