The longer the trailer the easier to reverse as a general rule. Backing a little 6x4 trailer that you only get little glimpses of in your mirrors is probably harder than a massive vanIs it hard to reverse a caravan? Do you have to turn the wheel the wrong way?
I kinda wanna hire a caravan and take my boys on a roadtrip one day but I'm scared about reversingThe longer the trailer the easier to reverse as a general rule. Backing a little 6x4 trailer that you only get little glimpses of in your mirrors is probably harder than a massive van

We hired a caravan for a weekend once when I was a kid and found it brought our family far closer together than any of us wanted to.I kinda wanna hire a caravan and take my boys on a roadtrip one day but I'm scared about reversing![]()

Might be better to hire a camper van, like a Winnebago (or smaller).I kinda wanna hire a caravan and take my boys on a roadtrip one day but I'm scared about reversing![]()
Yep. My camper no problem. My mates little 6x4 dual axel, not a chance. I'll just un hitch and push the ****er.The longer the trailer the easier to reverse as a general rule. Backing a little 6x4 trailer that you only get little glimpses of in your mirrors is probably harder than a massive van
Obviously adds some weight to the car so it will slow it down a bit, but year no real difference to driving normally. Are they easy enough to drive?
John Breaks Bad News is awesome! When he rang that lady to tell her that her loan wasn’t approved and told her he loved her to break the awkward silence afterwards and she went berserk was epic.I avoided Facebook reels for ever so I didn't end up doom scrolling non stop but a few have gotten me.
It seems the entire serries of River Monsters is coming to me in reel form.

A mechanic that says "what? Get ****ed. No way" a lot. - This one has actually given me some nice life hacks.
How ever this week a band has been forced down my throat and despite not being anywhere near my choice in music I think I like them.
I think the song is great. I'll put it in spoilers as it stars both Barry Hall and the C word. Funnily enough I have acted in the same short tempered way when someone parked in my drive way after repeatedly being told not to.

tempted to run down from my office to the hardstand next door and turf a driver out to reverse a container trailer in properly...
As a self proclaimed trailer backing guru with mild OCD this photo is distressingView attachment 2497161
Case in point today - nine trailers, only one of which you'd call backed in at 90deg. Guys in the factory next door used to park along the fence. It only took one corner of a trailer pushed theough the chainlink to convince them of the error of their ways.

What way you heading? As you Leyland Brothers it…
I have an avan motorhome, very easy to drive and reverse. You only have to be carry when turning especially if you are close to something as the height of them you may clip something.thanks guys, we could be onto something here

Yep that’s the main downside, but it does only take about ten minutes to pack up so it’s not a huge issue. Also we only stay on bitumen roads which limits a lot of locations I’d like to visit.I thought about a motorhome but chose a caravan because if you are in one location for a while you can detach the car and just drive that around.
