How people treat her has nothing to do with it. She served time and was released. Hardly crime of the century anyway. It was weed. Tons of released criminals that I would prefer back in prison before her.

I think it's unfair to blame her for the media circus and the way the public reacts to her. She smuggled a bit of weed and has done her time.

the merits of her crime and original sentence can be argued separately but at the end of the day whenever anyone gets themselves in trouble is to do whatever they can to minimise the damage to themselves, which is fair enough - especially for something as trivial as moving pot around.

the media treatment of her is nothing to do with her - it's simply that the australian population continues to give the story legs.

i would find it a bit of a forehead slap if he ends up back in jail, but i'm extremely ambivalent to her.
