What do you do with all the spare time you have saved by not ejecting disks?Well I'm a bit more with the times. I rip my dvds on to a hard drive and watch them through the WDTV device..... don't have the patience to eject discs!!
Basically the same reason why my xbox/ps4 collection is mostly digital.... saves time ejecting game discs!
Getting new tissues. What do you do with all the spare time you have saved by not ejecting disks?

Well if the garage door was down and someone inside pressed the button raise it I don't think glasses would have helped them see through the door to the bloke on the ladder outside. Unless they were x-ray glassesThat specsavers ad where the bloke has put up a bball hoop at home, but then... it turns out he's actually put it on his auto roller doors, so the hoop gets ripped off when somebody else decides to put the doors up while he's still standing there on the ladder. This is apparently proof he should go to specsavers.
What the hell is the gag supposed to be here? That, if he had glasses, he would be aware of the fact that he has roller doors, which he presumably uses every day? Or is it that, if he had glasses, he would've put the hoop above the doors so as to avoid the very obvious problem that they cause, despite the hoop then likely being too high for anyone to use? And why the hell did the doors even go up? Are we to assume that this other person didn't know what he was doing, and that they couldn't see or hear him out there, thus themselves needing to go to specsavers (and get a hearing test)?
IT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!
Exactly. Which is why this ad is so incredibly stupid. I just can't figure what the angle is supposed to be...Well if the garage door was down and someone inside pressed the button raise it I don't think glasses would have helped them see through the door to the bloke on the ladder outside. News articles online and the like where the basis of the report is a tweet or instagram post. After an introduction, the author/blogger posts the tweet/insta where you thereby read what the person said (usually outraged or going viral by then). The author then quotes what was said in the post word for word below.
we can read the social media post, why copy and paste?
So peternorth posted that

Australia's rapid yet seemingly inevitable descent in to All Things American
Australia's rapid yet seemingly inevitable descent in to All Things American
Which aspects? It seems very different to me.
Language evolves I guess. Makes sense due to them putting out the most music, tv shows etc that people listen to.
Vernacular
Highway Patrol is quality at least. Can't really fault people when we are so saturated with American media. not just us but the whole world.
At least the Brits consume British media. Very few Australians actually watch Aussie TV shows and movies. Aside from reality TV.
To be fair most servos now have the cameras and will think you are doing a runner.Campaigners who dont move their cars away from petrol bowsers after filling up when there are cars waiting behind em!
